UTSA community participates in MLK Jr. march
(Jan. 20, 2004)--UTSA faculty, staff and students participated in San Antonio's Martin Luther King Jr. march Monday morning, Jan. 19.

The theme of the march was "A Day On, Not A Day Off."
The San Antonio Express-News estimated 68,000 participated in this year's commemorative march, one of the largest in the nation.
UTSA participation in the march was sponsored by the UTSA American Studies program and the Office of Student Affairs and coordinated by faculty members Kent Wilkinson and Bill Mullen.
