Student shopping, apartment shuttles begin runs
(Jan. 9, 2004)--Star Shuttle is providing an apartment shuttle service for UTSA 1604 Campus students during the spring 2004 semester. The shuttle will run Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., except on UTSA holidays.
The service is provided for these complexes: The Highlands, Campus Side Apartments, Blue Bonnet Hills, Las Colinas apartments, Chase Hill Apartments, Alpin Park Apartments and Maverick Creek Apartments.

The route begins at 7:30 a.m. at The Highlands with the route completed in approximately 45-minute intervals. The route may take longer to complete due to traffic conditions. The final destination of the route is Lot 3, north of the Business Building on the 1604 Campus.
Riders can catch the bus at the VIA bus-stop signs next to the complexes, except for The Highlands where they will be picked up in the front courtyard, and in front of Campus Side apartments.
Additionally, the shopping shuttle for UTSA students will run every Saturday afternoon from noon to 4 p.m. for the spring 2004 semester beginning Jan. 17.
The shuttle will begin with a Chisholm Hall stop by the Housing Office, followed by a pick-up at University Oaks Phase III.
From campus, the shuttle will stop in front of the Wal-Mart garden center and in front of Borders bookstore in the Huebner Oaks Shopping Center. The final stop will be at the HEB grocery store on De Zavala.
The Star Shuttle bus will wait approximately three minutes at each stop before proceeding to the next one. The last pick-up from campus will be at 3 p.m., while the final pick-up from the shopping centers will be at approximately 3:40 p.m.
