UTSA debaters battle New York winter
(Feb. 3, 2004)--The big winter chill in Ithaca, N.Y., was no match for UTSA's fiery debate skills.
Despite sub-zero temperatures and multiple feet of snow, Philip DiPiazza, Erin White, Meghan Martinez and Mark Este turned solid competitive performances at the "Tournament of Love" hosted by Cornell University. Forty-seven teams from seven states competed in the Cornell debate tournament.
