Knolton and Langham both earned more votes than candidates Chris Forbrich and Otis Blanchard, but neither candidate was able to capture the percentage of votes needed for an outright win.
"I'm just very proud of all four candidates who conducted themselves in a very professional and mature manner throughout the campaign," said John Kaulfus, UTSA executive director of student leadership and cultural programs (SLCP).
The SLCP office will post the election results at noon, Thursday, Feb. 12. The special election was held to replace former SGA President Roger Garza who resigned his post earlier this year.
"I encourage the same people who voted in the first special election to come out and vote again in the run-off," said Kaulfus.
The candidate earning the most votes will serve as SGA president until the annual elections in April.
