With a photo finish too close to call, Student Government Association (SGA) presidential candidates Derek Knolton and Ross Langham advanced to the run-off election.
Knolton and Langham both earned more votes than candidates Chris Forbrich and Otis Blanchard, but neither candidate was able to capture the percentage of votes needed for an outright win. The candidate earning the most votes in the run-off will serve as SGA president until the annual elections in April.
The special election was held to replace former SGA President Roger Garza who resigned his post earlier this year.
