UTSA hosts top-ranked Longhorns Tuesday
(March 15, 2004)--The UTSA baseball squad hosts I-35 rival Texas at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 16 at Wolff Stadium.
The Roadrunners enter the contest 9-7 overall, while the Longhorns head to town ranked No. 1 in the ESPN Coaches' Poll. The contest marks the first meeting between the two squads this season and the Longhorns' first trip to UTSA since 2001.
Pictured is UTSA shortstop Ryan Crew, batting .309 with three home runs this season. The 2003 Southland Conference (SLC) Freshman of the Year and a freshman all-America selection a year ago, Crew was tabbed pre-season all-SLC in January.

The Roadrunners are 1-2 this season against ranked opponents, dropping a 6-1 decision at No. 10 Baylor before hammering seventh-ranked Notre Dame 17-9 at Wolff Stadium.
