UTSA Library payment policy changes April 1

(March 25, 2004)--The UTSA Library at the 1604 and Downtown campuses will no longer accept cash payments at circulation desks effective April 1. Additionally, the library will no longer provide refunds for copiers.

The preferred payment method at library circulation desks or copiers is the UTSACard, but visitors also can utilize a guest card. Guest cards can be purchased for $1 at value-added stations in both UTSA Library locations.

To add to a UTSACard account balance, patrons can pay with cash or credit card at UTSA fiscal services offices.

Overdue notices will be sent to UTSA students via their Lonestar e-mail accounts. Faculty and staff will receive notices at the e-mail address identified in their EID number.

Individuals without e-mail addresses will receive notices via U.S. mail or campus mail service.

For more information, contact Jacquelyn Crinion, assistant dean for library collections and extended services, at 210-458-5506.
