Health services to offer weight-loss classes
(March 16, 2004)--Bathing-suit season is right around the corner and many want to lose weight to look and feel good.
To help with this goal, UTSA Health Services will offer "Weight No Longer!" weight-loss classes beginning April 1 in Buena Vista Street Building Room 1.308 at the Downtown Campus.

The four-week class is from 2 to 3 p.m. each Thursday in April. Taught by Health Education Coordinator Kathleen Ceresoli, the classes are free and open to UTSA students, faculty and staff.
The goal of the class is to teach sensible skills for losing weight safely. Topics include nutrition, portion control, eating out, exercise and movement, calorie balance, self-empowerment and stress management. Participants will prepare weekly food/exercise diaries and do a weigh-in each week.
