UTSA reception honors commitment to CIAS
(June 23, 2004)--UTSA President Ricardo Romo and Dr. Harriett Romo recently hosted a reception honoring the Center of Infrastructure Assurance and Security (CIAS) advisory board at the Plaza Club.
The reception was to thank the board for their continuing commitment and support of CIAS.

Lebras will speak on behalf of the Air Force Intelligence Agency at the Texas Infrastructure Protection Symposium at UTSA Aug. 5-6. The symposium is being organized by CIAS.

CIAS is a UTSA multidisciplinary program involving academic, business and government stakeholders who address the technical and policy issues of information assurance.
The center provides students with hands-on experience in solving computer security problems; serves as a research conduit for faculty and industry leaders; and hosts educational seminars.
CIAS is designed to leverage San Antonio's infrastructure assurance and security strengths as part of the solution to the nation's homeland defense needs.
