UTSA College of Business offers sports internships
(July 27, 2004)--The UTSA College of Business has four internship opportunities available for sports marketing positions in the UTSA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Qualified candidates must be juniors or seniors majoring in general business, marketing, small business entrepreneurship or tourism. The positions begin in Fall 2004 and may qualify for academic credit with the concurrence of the appropriate faculty supervisors.
"This is one of the ways the UTSA College of Business makes experiential learning opportunities available to our students," said John Jennings, assistant dean of undergraduate professional development. "We appreciate the cooperation of UTSA's athletics department to make these internship opportunities available to our students."
Interns will assist with student promotions, signage, student meetings and recruitment of the Blue Crew. They also will coordinate youth programs, manage in-game promotions, participate in ticket sales and assist with game operations and logistics.
