UTSA community greets students at Week of Welcome events

(Aug. 24, 2004)--New UTSA students attended orientation sessions Monday and Tuesday as part of Rowdy Days, a new UTSA tradition to help new students connect to the university community for a successful educational experience. The events opened a week of educational sessions and entertaining activities.

Students gathered Monday at the UTSA 1604 Campus for Rowdy Days to hear speakers and participate in a get-acquainted activity in the Convocation Center. They also attended orientation sessions in various campus locations.

On Tuesday, the UTSA colleges sponsored open houses at the 1604 and Downtown campuses, which were accompanied by the Fall Convocation ceremony for the entire UTSA community.
