UTSA offers apartment, shopping shuttle service
(Aug. 25, 2004)--UTSA is providing a free shuttle bus from several nearby apartment complexes to the 1604 Campus during the fall semester. The university also will provide students a Saturday shuttle from the 1604 Campus to several shopping center stops.

Star Shuttle will provide the apartment shuttle service from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, except on UTSA holidays.
Service is provided for these apartment complexes:
- Campus Side
- Blue Bonnet Hills
- Las Colinas and Chase Hill
- Alpin Park
- Maverick Creek
The route begins at 7:30 a.m. at Highlands and proceeds in the order listed above. The entire route is run in approximately 45 minutes. Students can catch the shuttle at the VIA bus stop signs, except for Highlands and Campus Side where the stops are at the Highlands front courtyard and in front of Campus Side.
The shuttle stops on the 1604 Campus at lot 3, north of the Business Building.
The free shopping shuttle runs Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
Stops are the Chisholm Hall bus stop next to the housing office, University Oaks Phase III shuttle stop, Wal-Mart garden center, Huebner Oaks shopping center next to Border's bookstore and H-E-B on DeZavala at the left entrance as you look at the building.
The shuttle waits at each stop for three minutes. Bus capacity is 29 passengers. The last campus pick-up is 3 p.m. and the last H-E-B pick-up is at approximately 3:40 p.m.
