UTSA students with Rowdy Roadrunner
Parents' Day brings families to UTSA Oct. 9
(Sept. 29, 2004)--UTSA will host its first Parents' Day Saturday, Oct. 9 with the theme "Get Rowdy with Your Student." The theme is a play on words referring to Rowdy Roadrunner, the UTSA mascot.
Parents' Day will center on the families of students who live on campus and who participated in the Rowdy Ties family orientation this summer. Family members are invited to return to campus, reconnect with their students and explore San Antonio.
