Men, women, children and wheelchair athletes are welcome to participate, with all registration fees and donations supporting UTSA women's athletic scholarships.
The 5K run, which is taking place for the second year, will be coordinated by UTSA and UTSA alumnus Roger Soler, through the Roger Soler's Sports stores.
Teams with a minimum of five members for the fun walk are encouraged to start forming and planning any team fund-raisers as individual and team awards will be given for the most money raised by groups for the entire event.
