UTSA marketing class hosts FBI recruiting campaign

(Oct. 29, 2004)--A part of a marketing class campaign in the UTSA MBA program, the FBI will be at Sombrilla Plaza on the 1604 Campus from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 1., where FBI special agents and support employees will be available to discuss FBI job and internship opportunities.

"As part of our marketing class, we are running a recruitment campaign for the FBI, aimed at recruiting minority candidates between 23 and 36 years old to increase the number of competitive candidates to fill special agent and professional support positions," said UTSA graduate student Jesus Mendoza.

Applicants for the FBI positions should have experience or a degree in one of these areas: accounting/finance, computer science/IT, engineering, foreign language proficiency, physical sciences (chemistry, biology), law, law enforcement or military experience.

The marketing class plans additional activities for the recruiting campaign during the fall semester.
