
UTSA hosts World AIDS Day events Nov. 30-Dec. 2
(Nov. 29, 2004)--The UTSA student peer-education organization FACES (Finding Awareness by Creating Educated Students) and Student Health Services host World AIDS Day events from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 30 in the University Center Retama Auditorium (2.02.02) at the 1604 Campus. World AIDS Day is Dec. 1.

The theme of the Nov. 30 presentations is "Women and AIDS." Free, confidential HIV testing will be provided from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Student Health Services will have information tables, red ribbons and condoms from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1 at the Sombrilla Plaza and the University Center on the 1604 Campus, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 2 at the Frio Street Building commons on the Downtown Campus.
