Thanksgiving allows us to focus on our blessings and the freedoms we enjoy. All of us at UTSA have much for which to be thankful, such as living in a country where freedom, both personal and academic, is protected and reinforced in our daily lives. We also learn and work at a university where diversity is celebrated, not feared.
Harriett and I wish each of you a peaceful Thanksgiving. Please enjoy the company of loved ones and take time to reflect on the good in our world.
Best wishes,
Ricardo Romo
President, The University of Texas at San Antonio
