The stuffed animals are delivered to needy children through the San Antonio Police Department's Blue Santa program. Officers from Blue Santa picked up the toys Monday morning.
"Alpha Chi would like to express its gratitude to the entire UTSA community for these fine gifts," said Anne Englert, assistant director for University Center events management. "Blue Santa says these bears will help out many of the CPS children this season. Blue Santa ran out of toys this year and bears are the best of gifts for children. Many thanks go to all the students, faculty and staff for their generosity."
