The outage, which is not weather dependent, is necessary to perform upgrades to the primary electrical substation to accommodate increasing electrical needs on campus.
All emergency electrical circuits will have power during the outage and back-up power generators will be tested.
Facilities Services staff will perform walk-throughs of campus facilities after electrical power is restored to ensure systems are back to normal.
