Picture yourself a winner in local photo contest
(Jan. 10, 2005)--The San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau (SACVB) is conducting a photo contest and your image could be chosen to promote the city.
What images say "San Antonio" to you? Is it the sun rising over the Alamo, the romance of the Paseo del Rio, Mariachis playing at Market Square, the history of the missions, fiestas or the beautiful smiles that embrace and enchant every visitor to our city? Here is your chance to share your vision of San Antonio and win a cash prize.

The grand prize is $4,000, up to 10 people can win $2,000 prizes for a photograph used to advertise San Antonio and up to 200 people can win $200 for a photograph used in other advertising pieces.
To enter the photo contest, submit photographs demonstrating the uniqueness of San Antonio's history, culture and people.
Entries will be accepted through 11 a.m., Feb. 15. Mailed entries must be post marked by Feb. 15. E-mail digital photos to Evan Bliss. Hard copies, slides, transparencies, electronic files or disks should be mailed to Evan Bliss, San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau, 401 E. Houston St., San Antonio, Texas 78205.
