
Asian Festival at Institute of Texan Cultures
Institute of Texan Cultures needs Asian Festival volunteers
(Jan. 24, 2005)--Volunteers are needed for the Asian Festival, Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Institute of Texan Cultures.
Volunteer positions include information attendants, freight elevator operators, participant helpers (loading/unloading), set-up/tear down assistants and other positions as needed.

Shifts are approximately three and a half hours long between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Volunteers receive free admission for themselves and a guest and free parking near the festival.
The festival celebrates the Year of the Rooster with the Asian community of South Texas with martial arts demonstrations, ethnic dance presentations, mouth-watering food and more.
