
UTSA Black Heritage Ball features soul food dinner
(Feb. 8, 2005)--The UTSA University Center hosts the Black Heritage Ball from 6 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, Feb. 19 at the University Center Laurel Room (2.02.28), 1604 Campus. All UTSA students are invited to participate and may bring one guest.

The deadline for reservations is Feb. 15. Admission is free for UTSA students and $15 for other students. To make reservations, call (210) 458-4155.
A soul food dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in the Laurel Room, followed by a performance by comedian Bobby Law at 7:30 p.m. in the Retama Auditorium (2.02.02).
Dancing begins at 9 p.m. with DJ E-Phlat spinning until midnight. Attire for the ball is semi-formal to formal.
A Decorating Jam is set for 4-9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18, where grilled food will be provided. To sign up as a decorating volunteer, go to University Center Room 1.04.02.
