
UTSA hosts health professions fair Feb. 16
(Feb. 15, 2005)--The UTSA Joint Admission Medical Program, the University Center and the College of Sciences are sponsoring Health Professions Fair 2005 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16 in the University Center atrium at the UTSA 1604 Campus.
The fair is open to students interested in applying to pharmacy, medical, dental, veterinary or other health-related profession schools and programs.

More than 80 representatives from medical and graduate schools will provide information on various professional programs.
Colleges and universities participating in the fair include Texas Tech University, Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, St. Matthew's University and Parker College of Chiropractic, among others.
Although many programs require a bachelor of science degree, some admit students after completing only three years of college.
