UTSA students host visit with Julian Castro
(April 4, 2005)--The UTSA College Democrats, a student organization, host "An Afternoon with Julian Castro" from 2 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 5 in the University Center Retama Auditorium (2.02.02) at the UTSA 1604 Campus. The event is free and open to the UTSA community.

Castro is the youngest candidate to serve on the San Antonio City Council, representing District 7. Currently, he is seeking the office of mayor and, if elected, would be the youngest mayor in San Antonio history.
According to the most recent independent polls, Castro leads his opponents, Phil Hardberger and Carroll Schubert, by more than 15 percent.
Castro graduated from Stanford University with a degree in political science and communication and earned a law degree from Harvard University.
