UTSA Alumni Association sponsors Costa Rica trip
(April 8, 2005)--The UTSA Alumni Association will sponsor a vacation tour, "Costa Rica: Nature's Museum," departing Nov. 3 from San Antonio for 10 days. A Smithsonian Journeys Travel Adventure, the trip is open to UTSA alumni, faculty and staff.

A second tour information meeting, complete with refreshments, is 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 31in the John Peace Library Building Assembly Room (4.03.08) at the UTSA 1604 Campus. The tour itinerary features the Rain Forest Aerial Tram, Braulio Carrillo National Park, Poas Volcano, thermal spa resort, Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and Playa Herradura, and a butterfly farm.
Vacationers have the option of adding a three-night jungle adventure at the end of the tour.
The cost starts at $2,329 per person (double occupancy) and includes round-trip airfare from San Antonio, all hotels, 17 meals, cancellation waiver and insurance, hotel transfers and departure tax. A deposit of $430 is due at the time of reservation with full payment due Sept. 3. A full refund is available 90 days before departure.
