UTSA health services hosts spring health fair April 12-13
(April 11, 2005)--UTSA Student Health Services hosts its annual spring health fair with the theme "Catch the Wave of Health" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 12 and Wednesday, April 13 at the Humanities and Social Sciences Building second floor atrium on the 1604 Campus.
The fair, free and open to the UTSA community, is designed to increase health awareness and provide health screenings.

More than 50 vendors will be on hand with information on topics including alcoholism, drug addiction, diabetes, pets, heart health, cancer, social diversity, travel and safety, oral hygiene, STDs, safer sex, tobacco, and UTSA and community health services.
There will be drawings for door prizes every half hour, massages and free screenings for spinal disorders, vision, hearing and blood pressure.
Both days of the fair, Student Health Services will conduct free HIV screenings at the Recreation and Wellness Center.
As part of the event, the Texas Blood and Tissue Center will have a blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., April 12 in Business Building University Room (2.06.04), 1604 Campus.
