UTSA to offer computer summer camp
(June 7, 2005)--The UTSA Office of K-16 Initiatives is accepting applications for its Computer Design Summer Program for San Antonio area students entering grades 6-8.

The program, limited to 25 students, is taught by university staff runs June 20-July 1 at the Downtown Campus Durango Building.
Students will participate in interactive projects and activities to build their computer skills. Projects include designing fliers, business cards and Web sites using PowerPoint, Publisher and Web design software.
Students will participate in group and individual activities to gain a better understanding of computer software applications. Materials, equipment and supplies will be provided as part of the $100 registration fee.
