Child Development Center provides UTSA child care
(July 5, 2005)--The UTSA Child Development Center provides child care services for UTSA students, staff and faculty. The center is licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services and is a Child Care Delivery Services vendor.

RSS FeedsAdditionally, the center is part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program offered through the USDA Food Nutrition Program.
The child care program is designed to enhance children's emotional, social, creative, physical, language and cognitive development through creative learning experiences in an educational environment.
The curriculum emphasizes developmentally appropriate play experiences based on the children's interests and ideas and encourages critical thinking skills.The daily schedule is organized to meet the children's needs for a balance of active and quiet play, and large and small group interactions, including indoor and outdoor activities.
Tuition at the center for children of UTSA students, faculty or staff ranges from $1,040 to $2,560 per semester.
