Parking permits: Last chance to order and receive by mail

(July 22, 2005)--UTSA students, faculty and staff must order UTSA parking permits for 2005-2006 by July 31 in order to receive a permit by mail.

Permits must be ordered online through the ASAP information system, whether payment is by cash, payroll deduction, financial aid or credit card.

New permits must be displayed or your vehicle may be ticketed. There will be no grace period this year.

To complete the permit application, you must have your vehicle license plate number available.

To order a permit, go to the ASAP site and click "Login to ASAP." The login is the number on your UTSACard preceded by "@00" (ex. @00123456). Directions are provided at the site for each step in the application process.

For students, select "Student Services and Financial Aid," then "Student Records" and follow the links to TickeTrak.

For faculty and staff, after selecting "Employee Services" choose "Parking and Traffic" and follow the links to TickeTrak.

Orders paid online by credit card or payroll deduction will be distributed via U.S. mail in July and August.

Those who prefer to pay by cash or with financial aid are still required to order a parking permit online. The permit is then picked up at Fiscal Services when payment is made.

  • Preferred lot: Beginning Fall 2005 semester, 24-hour-reserved permits will no longer be lot-specific. But, please select "Preferred Lot" when ordering a permit in TickeTrak; this information will be used to ensure that a sufficient number of 24-hour-reserved spaces are designated in each lot. Each permit holder can purchase only one 24-hour-reserved permit, first-come, first-served basis.
  • Inactive PIN: Some UTSA students, faculty and staff members may not be able to log in to ASAP because of an inactive or locked out PIN. To activate a PIN, students on campus should take their UTSACard to any student computing lab or enrollment services office; students off campus should call (210) 458-8000 or 800-669-0919 (enter option to speak to an enrollment services officer). To activate a PIN, faculty members should contact their college's administrative assistant; staff members should take their UTSACard to any student computing lab or enrollment services office.
