New book of essays
UTSA reception to honor essay book by local printer

(Sept. 27, 2005)--The UTSA Culture and Policy Institute will host a reception from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30 in the Durango Building Southwest Room (1.214), Downtown Campus, honoring the publication of the book, "Know the Past, Live the Present, Provide for the Future: Essays by Ruben Munguia." The reception is free and open to the public.

Edited by Arturo Vega, UTSA associate professor of public administration, and Richard Howe, retired UTSA engineering professor, the book of essays was written by the late Ruben Munguia, a respected San Antonio civic leader and printer.
Reception guests will include Rep. Frank Madla, UTSA President Ricardo Romo and Munguia family members including Mrs. Ruben Munguia and nephew and former Mayor Henry Cisneros, among others.
