(Nov. 22, 2005)--The University of Texas at San Antonio is holding firm to a Dec. 1, 2005, deadline on undergraduate admission applications for the Spring 2006 semester.
The strict deadline represents an active effort from the university to ensure both course availability and quality service to students at the rapidly growing institution, according to George Norton, UTSA assistant vice president for admissions.

Spring semester classes begin Jan. 17, and students who apply by Dec. 1 will have time to complete the application process and select an orientation/registration session.
Norton says students planning to take advantage of financial aid programs should start that process even earlier.
