(Nov. 8, 2005)--The UTSA Ethics Bowl planning committee and the Office of Student Judicial Affairs are seeking students for the final round of Ethics Bowl competition Nov. 16. Teams are being formed through Nov. 10.
The Ethics Bowl is a way for students to experience ethical decision-making and exercise critical thinking skills. It is a great out-of-class experience to complement course work or a student organization mission by forming a team or attending the final round of competition. And it's a big opportunity to take home the prize.

Ethics Bowl 2005 is an inaugural UTSA competition consisting of eight teams that will deliberate in a competitive setting various ethical dilemmas through research, discussion and resolution.
It is a forum to develop leadership and synthesize subjective information among participants and the viewing audience. The ultimate goal for students is refining their ethical reasoning and analytical skills that will translate to a principled, trustworthy and deliberative work force for the 21st century.
Additionally, the event provides an opportunity for faculty to build on the academic foundation they lay in the classroom by forming and coaching teams and encouraging attendance.
Ethics Bowl 2005 is Wednesday, Nov. 16 in the Main Building auditorium, ground floor, on the UTSA 1604 Campus. The competition begins at 5 p.m. with a final round at 7 p.m.
