UTSA Roadrunner congratulations go to UT Austin!

(Jan. 5, 2006)--Congratulations go to the University of Texas at Austin from the UTSA community on their Jan. 4 win in the National Collegiate Athletic Association football championship.
The Longhorns won 41-38 over the University of Southern California at the 92nd Rose Bowl game in Pasadena, Calif.

According to the UT Austin Web site, the tower at The University of Texas at Austin will be lighted entirely in orange each night through the weekend with "#1" displayed.
UT Austin achieved a perfect 13-0 season, the most wins in the university's history. The win brings the school's fourth national title -- its first since 1970.
It is the Longhorns' second consecutive Bowl Championship Series appearance and victory at the Rose Bowl.
