According to blood drive representatives, one pint of blood can save up to three lives. One of every 20 Texans will need blood at some time, but less than five percent of the eligible donor population gives blood.
Donors must be 17 years of age or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good general health. A photo ID is required to donate.
For more information about the blood drive, contact the health education office at Student Health Services, (210) 458-4142.
