Best Fest student group fundraiser is Oct. 27

(Oct. 23, 2006)--The UTSA Campus Activities Board hosts its annual fall fundraising festival, Best Fest, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27 at Sombrilla Plaza on the 1604 Campus.
The UTSA community is invited to the celebration, complete with food, drinks and games.

Approximately 74 student organizations are expected to participate. Booths will be decorated in themes from the 1970s, 1980s or 1990s.
Musical performances will be by Fareview at noon, and Westbound Departure at 1:30 p.m. A D.J. also will provide music.
The event is one of the largest fundraisers for UTSA student organizations.
This year's Best Fest includes four student organization performances, an obstacle course and the ride "G-Force".
