UTSA to sponsor women's leadership forum

(Dec. 20, 2006)--The UTSA Office of Institutional Diversity and the Texas Diversity Council will host the Women in Leadership Symposium from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 at the Buena Vista Theater on the UTSA Downtown Campus. A continental breakfast will be served 7:30-8:30 a.m.

With the theme "profiles of outstanding women," the interactive event will include discussion of the elements of success for women in leadership. This year's symposium continues last year's discussion of the status of women's access to leadership positions with a focus on the next generation of leaders.

Registration is $35. With each individual registration, a high school or college student can register at no charge. For planning purposes, early registration is encouraged.
