CIA to visit UTSA March 21 for recruitment event

(March 20, 2007)--The UTSA student organization, Taus Consulting, will host a visit of Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) recruiters from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 21 in Humanities and Social Sciences Building Room 2.01.12 at the 1604 Campus. The event is free and open to the public.

RSS FeedsThe CIA employees will discuss their experiences and the type of job candidates they are looking for, followed by a question-and-answer session.
Two CIA directorates, the National Clandestine Service (NCS) and the Directorate of Intelligence (DI), are recruiting for a number of positions. NCS offers field-based positions as well as Washington, D.C.-based positions in fields such as intelligence collection and foreign languages. Careers with DI are mainly of an analytical nature, involving the study and evaluation of information from different sources.
Taus Consulting was formed by students in the UTSA Graduate Marketing 5023 class to assist the CIA in San Antonio recruitment efforts.
CIA applicant requirements are:
- U.S. citizenship
- background examination
- medical examinations
- security clearance
- polygraph interview
- high standard of personal qualities
