Pardon our dust: UC rooms to close temporarily

(April 26, 2007)--As a part of the University Center expansion project at the UTSA 1604 Campus, rooms in the University Center will undergo a series of life-and-safety upgrades from May 15, 2007, to Jan. 31, 2008.

The life-and-safety upgrades include renovations to the sprinkler and fire alarm systems and remodeling bathrooms to meet current ADA standards. In order to complete the huge project by the goal date of August 2008, many meeting rooms and other spaces will be temporarily closed. See the closure schedule below.

For offices open during the day, life-and-safety upgrades will be completed at night. University Center staff will meet with each of the building tenant departments before work begins in their areas.

The University Center staff thanks the UTSA community for its patience as we work through this important project.
