Presented on the grounds of UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures at 801 S. Bowie St. in downtown San Antonio, the Texas Folklife Festival is a three-day cultural extravaganza showcasing the Lone Star State's diversity and rich heritage. The festival features authentic food, entertainment, family activities, special exhibits, artisan demonstrations and carnival rides.
This year's theme is "It's All About Friendship," celebrating the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere of TFF, the friends made through the festival's history and new friends to be found through sharing the diverse Texan cultures.
Regular admission is $10 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-12, and free for children age 5 and younger. Discounted tickets also are available for $8 at partner locations around San Antonio. Group rates are available for parties of 25 or more by calling (210) 458-2259 or (800) 776-7651.
