SLC releases commissioner's spring honor roll

(June 20, 2007)--Forty-seven UTSA student-athletes are included on the CapitalOne Bank/Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Thursday in Frisco, Texas.

Across the 12-member conference, 686 student-athletes were named to the honor roll presented by CapitalOne Bank, which recognizes student-athletes who competed in league championship sports during the spring semester and maintained a 3.0 semester grade point average while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours. Each Southland institution is responsible for selecting the student-athletes for the spring roll.
UTSA placed 35 on the Commissioner's 2006 Fall Academic Honor Roll, giving the Roadrunners 82 honorees for the 2006-2007 academic year.
