Cultural Connections: Meet students, faculty, staff

(Aug. 15, 2007)--The UTSA Inclusion and Community Engagement Center will host the second annual Cultural Connections receptions to welcome new and transfer students who are part of the diverse population of UTSA.
Set during UTSA Roadrunner Days, a full schedule of events to help new students connect with each other and UTSA, the receptions are open to UTSA students, faculty and staff and will be in the Ski Lodge and the Laurel Room at the University Center, 1604 Campus.

RSS FeedsReceptions are scheduled for students who are members of particular groups including African-American and black, Hispanic, GLBTQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning), Asian Pacific islanders and students with disabilities.
Each reception will include a short program with a short activity, comments from a faculty or staff member and a student presentation. Snacks and beverages will be provided, along with displays by student organizations and information on UTSA resources.
For planning purposes, reserve a seat at a reception by completing a registration form at the Roadrunner Days Web site.
