Faculty research award apps due Oct. 10

(Aug. 31, 2007)--The deadline to submit applications for the UTSA Faculty Research Awards is 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10. The program promotes UTSA research and scholarship of the highest quality.

The competition is open to full-time, tenure-track faculty, regardless of rank. Applications from assistant professors will be considered separately from those submitted by associate and full professors.
The Faculty Research Awards Committee will review, evaluate and recommend funding of the research proposals. Funding is limited to $5,000 per project; proposals must include a budget justification.
