S.A. Silver Stars offer free ticket vouchers

(Aug. 29, 2007)--To help UTSA start the new academic year with a bang, San Antonio's WNBA team, the Silver Stars, will offer 3,000 free vouchers exchangeable for tickets to the Western Conference finals game at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 30 at the AT&T Center.

The vouchers will be available to UTSA students, faculty, staff and friends. Participants are encouraged to wear their orange-and-blue and show that UTSA supports the Silver Stars!
On a first-come, first-served basis, 2,500 vouchers will be available Wednesday, Aug. 29 at the University Center information desk (across from the bookstore), 1604 Campus. Additionally, 500 vouchers will be available at the Durango Building information desk, Downtown Campus.
Each voucher is exchangeable for two tickets at the SE Box Office at the AT&T Center.
For the first time in San Antonio history, the Silver Stars are in the Western Conference Finals. In a mirror of the NBA Finals, San Antonio and Phoenix will meet for the series. Game one of the series is at 7 p.m. Thursday at the AT&T Center (televised on ESPN Classic).
