UTSA Alumni Association hosts nine-stop UK tour

(Sept. 4, 2007)--The UTSA Alumni Association will sponsor a tour, "British Landscapes: England, Scotland and Wales," departing March 27, 2008, from San Antonio for 10 days. The tour is open to UTSA alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends.

An informational meeting on the trip is 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27 in the University Center Mesquite Room (2.01.24), 1604 Campus. For those unable to attend the meeting, a webinar is set for noon and 7 p.m. Oct. 11.
The tour itinerary includes London, a London theater performance, Cambridge, York, Edinburgh Castle, Lake District, North Wales, Bath, the Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon. For details, visit the UTSA Alumni Web site.
The cost for the trip including roundtrip airfare, hotels and transfers, and 14 meals is $2,699 per person, double occupancy, and cancellation waiver insurance. Deposit is $450.
