San Diego State prof discusses immigration

(Nov. 5, 2007)--The UTSA Department of English, Classics and Philosophy welcomes William Nericcio, professor and chair of the Department of English and Comparative Literature at San Diego State University, who will lecture from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 5 in the Business Building University Room (2.06.04), UTSA 1604 Campus.

Nericcio will speak about his new book, "Seductive Hallucination of the 'Mexican' in America."
He completed his doctoral degree in comparative literature with his dissertation, "The Politics of Solitude: Alienation in the Literatures of the Americas." Originally from Laredo, Texas, Nericcio has written extensively about issues of representation.
