Donation box locations, 1604 Campus:

  • Center for Archaeological Research, West Campus
  • University Heights, Hausman Road
  • 1604 Campus mailroom, Multidisciplinary Studies Building
  • Department of Anthropology mailroom (Humanities and Social Sciences Building Room 4.03.36)

"Toys for Tots" began in 1947 when Major Bill Hendricks, USMCR, and a group of Marine Reservists in Los Angeles collected and distributed 5,000 toys to needy children. In the 60 years since its founding, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program has distributed more than 370 million toys to more than 173 million needy children.
