Starbucks comes to UTSA
Full-service Starbucks comes to UTSA in spring
(Dec. 4, 2007)--A full-service Starbucks is coming to UTSA's University Center in spring 2008.
"We're very excited to bring this new service to the UTSA community," said Jane Wilcox, UTSA director of business auxiliary services. "This is just the sort of thing the students have been asking for."
Chartwells, the university's food service provider, will hold the Starbucks franchise.

The Roost game room was closed at the end of October to make way for the new Starbucks. The game room will be relocated to a space in the new expansion of the University Center, which will open in 2008.
The student affairs and university center operations offices were instrumental in providing space for the project. "We couldn't do it without them," said Wilcox.
According to Wilcox, the university community can expect a classic coffeehouse experience including music, seating and quality whole-bean coffees, along with freshly brewed coffee, rich-brewed Italian-style espresso beverages, Frappuccino blended beverages, Tazo teas, and a variety of pastries and confections.
