Hillel presents renowned Jewish storyteller Jan. 22

(Jan. 17, 2008)--UTSA Hillel, the Jewish student-faculty organization, will host a lecture by author and storyteller Rabbi Hanoch Teller from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 22 in the Business Building Social Room (2.06.04), 1604 Campus. Teller will speak on "Stories that Illuminate the Ethics of Everyday Life."

Reservations are required; lunch will be served at the event, which is free and open to the public. To make a reservation, call (210) 458-2672.

Teller, who lives in Jerusalem with his wife and 18 children, is the author of more than 20 books as well as hundreds of stories, essays and historical narratives. His works include, "Once Upon A Soul: Stories of Striving and Yearning," "Above the Bottom Line: Stories and Advice on Integrity" and "Give Peace A Stance: Stories and Advice on Promoting and Maintaining Peace."

Teller is an instructor at numerous women's colleges, including Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim College of Jewish Studies for Women, Darchei Binah Women's School, Afikei Torah Women's School for Advanced Torah Studies, Midreshet Moriah and Naaleh Online Torah School.

Celebrating its 20th year at UTSA, Hillel is an international organization on campuses in the United States, Russia, South America, Mexico, Europe and Canada.
