Accounting department hosts golf tournament

(March 21, 2008)--The UTSA Department of Accounting, part of the College of Business, will host the 16th annual Kathleen Reymann Keil Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament on Friday, April 18 at the Quarry Golf Club, 444 E. Basse Road.

The tournament begins at noon with registration, practice time and lunch. The shotgun start is at 1:30 p.m. in a scramble format. Following the tournament, an awards dinner is at 6 p.m.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Kathleen Reymann Keil Memorial Endowed Scholarship. The scholarship was established in honor of accounting alumna Kathleen Reymann Keil, '85, who died in 1992 after a two-year battle with cancer. Keil was active at UTSA and founded the first Beta Alpha Psi chapter. Following graduation, she worked for Valero Energy Corp. where she was a refinery tax analyst.
Sponsorships are available for teams of eight, four or two players. Individual tickets are $200, and hole sponsorships are $100. The registration deadline is Monday, March 31. For more information, call (210) 458-6632.
