(May 20, 2008)--The UTSA Office of Training and Development hosted a themed breakfast, "Thanks A Latté," for 70 graduates and class attendees of the Administrative Toolbox staff development series. The April 23 event was to thank participants for their involvement and contributions.

The breakfast was in the Texas Room of the newly expanded Recreation and Wellness Center on the UTSA 1604 Campus. The administrative professionals enjoyed a continental breakfast as they listened to a talk by guest speaker Gage Paine, UTSA vice president for student affairs, and watched a fashion show sponsored by Dress Barn of the Bandera Pointe shopping center.
Paine spoke on the importance of administrative professionals in UTSA's success and future endeavors. She read a children's book based on a real-life incident involving whales in Alaska. The poignant story was about the efforts of a girl who worked with others to reach objectives in spite of what appeared to be insurmountable obstacles.
The style show showcased UTSA administrative professional staff members, who modeled casual and business attire appropriate for the office.
